Cameroon Army Kills 116 Boko Haram Millitant in Amchide
Report has it that the Cameroon army says it has killed 116 Boko Haram Takfiri militants during clashes in the country’s far north.
The Cameroon’s Defense Ministry said that the Boko Haram militants had attacked an army base in Amchide on the border with Nigeria on December 17.
However, Cameroonian troops repelled the terrorists’ attack, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorist group, the ministry said.
Boko Haram militants always cross into neighboring Cameroon, where thousands of Nigerians have sought refuge in recent weeks.
The group has claimed responsibility for many deadly shooting attacks and bomb blasts in various parts of Nigeria since the beginning of its operations in 2009.
