Lagos State Deports 70 Northern Beggars to Northern Nigeria

Lagos State News – The Lagos state government has deported over 70 beggars that are from the northern Nigeria back to Kano state after they were found publicly begging  in the streets of Lagos which has been banned in the state.

Meanwhile,  according to a local Hausa radio program monitored in Kano state, complained that they were held for months and exposed to hardship before they were brought to Kano.

Most of the beggars that was deported were said to be the indigence of Kaduna, Jigawa,  Kebbi, Zamfara, Sokoto and Niger, states.
