Cristiano Ronaldo Received Red Card Against Valencia in Champions League Game

The 33- year old world best player, Cristiano Ronaldo received red card on Wednesday night in a game against Valencia after he was seen elbowing a Valencia player. The game which still Juventus still won by 2 goals to nil despite been away and been short of a player, was played at the home of Valencia.

The game was Ronaldo champions league debut for Juventus, and following the performance of Lionel Messi yesterday, fans had been hoping to see a better performance from the Portuguese. However, that hope was dashed when Cristiano Ronaldo received red card.

Ronaldo joined the Serie A giants this season and scored his first season goal against Sassulo on Sunday. The team followers were hoping that his deadlock has been broken and he would have the opportunity to carry his champions league legacy form real Madrid to Juventus.

Moreover, now due to his altercation with Jeison Murillo, he might be even punished further by receiving a three-match ban from UEFA. If that happens, he will miss the game against Manchester United which is very much anticipated by fans from both sides.
