JAMBMOBILE – New App by Jamb to Check Matriculation Status

The joint admission matriculation board, popularly known as JAMB, has launched a new mobile app that will now help candidates to easily check their matriculation status. The apps will help millions of candidate that takes the exam each year to either accept or reject admission form the tertiary institution of their choice.

The app which is called JAMBMOBILE was unveiled at the 2018 policy meeting of tertiary institutions which held on Wednesday at Bola Babalakin auditorium, Gbongan, Osun state. The meeting had the presence of the minister of education and also the jamb registrar.

In his speech the minister of education, Adamu Adamu urged all institute of education across the country to uphold transparency and good moral standards in their jobs.

In his statement, according to The cable, he said; “Some of you carry out your duties with full understanding and knowledge that some of your actions cannot stand the test of integrity, as some of the infractions you endorse and approve are irregular.

The registrar of jamb also spoke at the meeting and mention some of the improvement that has been made for the exam to run more smoothly. These improvement include;

Creation of more selling points for the examination forms (use of microfinance banks, mobile money operators, online payments, POS and ATMs) Monitoring of the examination process from jamb headquarters to reduce misconduct and fraudulent incident.

Synchronization of the exam to make sure that the exam holds at the same time all over the country.
The goal is for the program to run seamlessly and with many procedures also formerly implemented, that aim doesn’t seem so far.
