The Notable Nigerian Musician Davido Released After Murder Allegations. Nigerian popular singer, Davido has been released and cleared of all murder allegations after being arrested for the murder of Tagbo Umeike, his late friend.
Davido, took to his Instagram account on 16th of October, 2017 to thank all who supported him with their prayers. He assured everyone that he has forgiven them. Especially the media house or blog that accused him of killing his late friend, Tagbo Umeike. The artiste added that he is prepared to go back to doing what he knows how to do best, which is making music.
The leader of Davido’s legal team, Norrison I. Quakers (SAN), revealed during an exclusive interview with LIB that the artiste has been released by the police to continue with his career as he is not guilty.
According to Norrison, We’ve been to Panti and my client has given a statement there too. It is clear from all the investigation, statements and evidence released so far that Davido was not at any point with or near the deceased after he had left him alive at Shisha’s room.”
Ajudua also said they have also observed the consistency in his statements and the rest of those interviewed. As a result of this, he has been requested to go.
