Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud

There has been a lot going on in the January transfer window, and while the window hasn’t closed yet, some deals have already been finalized, and several players are now in a different club from the one they started the season with. One of this transfers involved Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud, which is to leave Arsenal for Chelsea but arsenal will surely need a replacement and are looking to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Aubamayeng.

The deal which is looking quite inevitable will be sealed if Aubamayeng passes his medical test on Wednesday. The deal which is to worth 60 million euros will also include a 180,000 euro wage per week for the player.

The signing deal seems to be going on smoothly, but one of gunner’s legend, Wright thinks that the deal is very bad for arsenal and has suggested that the shine should be taken off Aubamayeng’s arrival.

In his statement, he said that.

Why would they sell him? It doesn’t make sense,” talking on BBC Radio 5 live.

“It really would be like losing a tenner, find a fiver. So we’ve got Lacazette and fingers crossed Aubameyang and no big guy on the bench.

“You are talking about bringing on Danny Welbeck, or if Lacazette’s not playing then him.

We haven’t got that guy that’s proven off the bench to come on and score goals.”

Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud
Arsenal has already sold Alexis Sánchez this season, and they are also looking to sell Olivier Giroud. They have also recently been on a quite disappointing form lately and are number 6 on their league table. Additionally, they have picked up only two points in their last two games.
